✸Hi, I’m Jessie ✸

I’m a mixed media artist based in the desert - Indio, California. I have been making and selling art online for more than 10 years.

I was raised surrounded by purple mountains, cotton candy skies and the kind of silence that forces you to feel everything. A lot of my work is inspired by the emotional intensity of growing up somewhere that feels both isolating and magical.

Art for me is the deepest form of self-expression.

My art is deeply personal and unapologetic.

I’m inspired by queer identity, intimacy, emotion, and the feeling of wanting to escape into other worlds. I create art as a form of resistance.

Some of the art I make directly support social justice efforts and communities impacted by systemic and systematic state violence. I believe in a Free Palestine. I believe borders were created to enact state sanctioned violence onto indigenous and marginalized communities. I believe change can be made by supporting and uplifting the communities we are apart of and creating art by any means necessary. I believe ALL art is inherently political.
